Jam Student Poster Winner
Announced

Victoria Brigman,
a fifth grade student at Pleasant Grove Elementary School, entered and
won first place in Kings Bay Rotary’s Stone Crab Jam Poster contest. Her
colorful poster featuring a Stingray towing a sign advertising the Stone
Crab Jam earned Victoria a fifty dollar prize awarded by Plantation
Realty and owner Lisa Van DeBoe. Van DeBoe is the Rotary chairperson for
this event. Victoria’s poster will be placed in windows all over Citrus
County to advertise the first-ever Stone Crab Jam.

poster. This poster and the honorable mention posters are on display in
the front window of Frame Designs (Crystal River-Sweetbay Shopping
center.)
Stone Crab Jam
will be held on November 15 from 4-11 PM. Plan to come and enjoy a
wonderful evening of music, food and fun. Kings Bay Rotary, the
sponsoring organization, announced that continuous music can be enjoyed
on Citrus Avenue-west side of Highway 19 in Downtown Crystal River. Side
streets will have several band venues, vendors, food and beverages.
Admission is $5.00 and tickets can be purchased in advance. For your
listening and dancing pleasure, you’ll hear blues, rock-n-roll, country
and saxophones. Kings Bay Park is at the west end of Citrus Avenue and
provides a beautiful area for viewing Nature Coast beauty.

Foundation will use the proceeds (after costs) to support a variety of
community organizations and the Three Sisters Springs project.
Runner-up and
honorable mention went to the following students for their outstanding
posters. Montana Perry was the Runner-Up winner. Montana is a 4th
grade student at Floral City Elementary. Honorable Mention went to Max
Cox, 3rd grade, Pleasant Grove Elementary; Harrison Null, 4th
grade, Floral City; Luis Rivera, 2nd grade, Lecanto Primary;
Kayla Beischer, K, Crystal River Primary; and Maria Moore, 5th
grade. Congratulations and thank you to all of the students, families,
and schools that supported this student-community effort.
