Held at the home of Joe & Lynn Turck's
with big open spaces, plenty of parking, horse stables and
paddocks, great weather and a full moon. There was not much
more you could ask for. The food was excellent and everyone
had the opportunity to rub elbows with Rotary members from all
over the county. And let’s not forget the great job the Mick
Sharpe Band did and having the beautiful Kathryn Sylvester
jump in to sing God Bless America and a couple of Blues Songs
with her wonderful voice.
All the clubs all did their parts and it
made our Beast Feast an easier event to put together. When the
Rotarians who attended the Beast Feast tell their fellow
members what a great event this was, we'll get a lot more
participation next year. As it was, we had a huge turnout.
Thanks to Joe and Lynn Turck for opening
their home and farm to the horde of Rotarians that descended
upon them.
Thanks to Jack Reynolds and Julie Kidder
for hosting the organizational meetings and for essentially
organizing the event and getting all the volunteers on the
same page.
